Nishi-Gotanda is located in north Shinagawa and immediately south of Meguro station. The area is served by the Meguro line at Fudumae station as well as the JR Yamanote, Tokyu Ikegami and Asakusa lines at Gotanda station, which is the main area of interest in this district. Surrounding Gotanda station are the usual parade of restaurants, cafes and shops, but also the Remy shopping mall where you can find just about anything you would need from groceries and designer clothing to a fresh coffee at Starbucks. If this isn’t your thing, then a stroll down the peaceful Meguro River to the bustling streets of Osaki in the south might be of even more interest.
