Shinjuku is the very heart of Tokyo with Shinjuku train station being the busiest transport hub in the world where up to 3.64 million people pass through daily. The station provides access to 12 different train lines, among them the JR Yamanote line, the JR Chuo line and multiple Tokyo metro lines such as the Marunouchi and Oedo lines. There are also multiple buses that can be boarded towards countless destinations. Then there’s the huge business district on the west side with its field of skyscrapers and giant boulevards, and the east side overflowing with entertainment and myriad of shops, restaurants, bars, nightclubs, cinemas, game centers and the list goes on. A great number of the available entertainment is open 24/7! Clearly boredom should not be an issue if you decide to reside in one of Fontana’s Shinjuku apartments, and if the heat becomes too much, there’s always the peaceful greenery of Shinjuku Gyoen (Park) with its stunning Japanese, English and French style gardens.
